Ryan Gosling fanatics turned out in their droves for a free six-hour film screening at the Hackney Picturehouse yesterday.
100 lucky fans enjoyed a triple bill of the heartthrob’s flicks, having voted for their favourites before the event.
The films Drive, Crazy Stupid Love and Half Nelson were shown as part of the London Fields Free Film Festival.

“We’ve had an overwhelming response,” said organiser Daniel Theo, explaining how the start time had to be pushed back after more fans turned out than expected.
“It’s been mainly girls, as you would expect,” added Daniel, whose idea it was to bring the event to London Fields.
Organisers even had to turn people away at yesterday’s screening of cult classic Dazed and Confused.
“The venue at London Fields Fitness studio holds a capacity of 50, but we managed to squeeze in 70 and turn people away after that.”

The event is in its fifth year in London but this is the first time it has come to Hackney.
“It’s a very up-and-coming area,” said Daniel. “I thought it would be nice to bring something in that’s free”.
The festival, which runs from 17 to 26 October, is spread across a number of venues in London Fields, with screenings at the Picturehouse both Sundays.
