A mysterious blue box has been bewildering locals in the car park of the Wrens Park Estate, but there is no Timelord in sight.
In fact there are doubts that it can even travel in space, let alone time, as it has occupied the same spot for over two years.
The bright blue shipping container sits next to the estate’s playground and was once used by contractors, but has since been abandoned.
At a recent tenants and residents association meeting, president Tracy Hickey said the container was a health hazard.
“We’ve got kids climbing all over it,” she said. “What do they want, someone to fall and injure themselves?”
Estate Manager Mariarosa Frasca has repeatedly contacted the owners of the container, but despite giving a date for collection in July, the box is yet to be removed.
Frasca assured residents: “I’ll be on their back forever if need be.”
