All Points East festival has announced its return to Victoria Park on 27 August, listing several big names as its headliners.

Grammy and Brit Award nominee Jamie XX has been announced as the main headliner for the festival, alongside “legendary London artist” Kano, Tom Misch, Little Simz, Arlo Parks and Mercury Prize nominee Slowthai. More acts are to be announced shortly.

This is only the third time All Points East will have taken place. It’s 2018 debut won both “Festival of the Year” at the Music Week Awards and “Line-Up of the Year” at the UK Festival Awards. While 2019’s festival was awarded Q magazine’s “Festival of the Year”, after it brought The Strokes to the UK for the first time in four years, lining them up alongside Bon Iver, Mumford & Sons and The Chemical Brothers.

Jim King, CEO of European Festivals at AEG Presents, said, “It feels so great to finally be announcing our first day of All Points East 2021. The chance to be back in the summer sun in Victoria Park is itself alone a reason to celebrate.”

“The fact we are coming back with such a great first line up announcement makes this an even sweeter moment.”

This year, All Points East will continue its work with local charity The Tower Project “to give opportunities to young people with learning disabilities and autism on site at the festival.”
