Young couples looking to get onto the property ladder do not need to look any further; a beautiful fully fitted home has come onto the market for just £15,000.
Filmmaker Kas Graham and his partner Gosia Orlinksa have been living in a 1972 vintage double-decker bus for years but are now looking to sell. The Leyland Atlantean bus has space to seat nine people for dinner, a walk in wardrobe and an office.
Mr Graham said: “She does attract a lot of attention everywhere she goes. The previous owners were on the TV and in the papers, and when we’re out and about we get excited waves and smiles as we pass by, and lot of kids and big kids who want to have a look around.”
The bus has been decked out with solar panels, a satellite system, a 19 inch felt screen TV and a 7 in 1 entertainment unit. Although she requires an MOT every year, the bus is exempt from the congestion charge, allowing the new owners to take her wherever they fancy.
“The excitement when your home comes alive is indescribable,” said Mr Graham. “We’ve had a brilliant two years with her, but she’s not needed for our current plans, and it would be a shame for her to be sitting unused.”
