On Sunday 1 December the official Christmas lights switch-on by Cllr Michael Desmond, the Speaker of Hackney, took place in Hackney Town Hall Square. Kat B, the main character from this year’s Hackney Empire pantomime, “Puss in Boots”, joined the ceremony.
