Hackney’s Spitalfields Crypt Trust has begun running open mic nights at its second ‘Paper and Cup’ training cafe, based in Poplar.
The night sees people recovering from addiction and homelessness mingling with other members of the public and taking the stage to sing and rap in an open mic format.
