White Cube, Hoxton: Anselm Kiefer’s exhibition, Des Meeres und de Liebe Wellen, featuring over 30 new works. Starts 11 March, 10-6pm, Tuesday -Saturday. Entrance free.

Hackney Empire, Hackney Central: The English Touring Opera presents Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito, a tale of terrorism, betrayal and forgiveness. On 10 March, 7.30pm. Tickets £10-£32.

Rio Cinema, Dalston: Norwegian Wood, a Japanese drama film adapted Haruki Murakami novel. In Japanese with subtitles. Starts 11-18 March.  Tickets £7-£9.

Vortex Jazz Club, Dalston: The club hosts Toshinori Kondo, a Jazz-fusion Trumpeter. Starts 14- 15 March. One day pass £12, two days pass £20.
