Anne Keothavong, Britain’s number one-ranked female tennis player, will hear tomorrow whom she will face in the first round of the BNP Paribas Open in California.
Hackney-based Keothavong, ranked 48th in the world, will play her opening match on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old is currently preparing for the tournament in Los Angeles.
She recently posted on her Twitter account that she was sitting on her balcony relaxing and enjoying the sun.
The tournament, in Indian Wells, which is 125 miles east of Los Angeles, will be her first since the Region’s Morgan Keenan Championships, where her run to the semi-finals saw her enter the world’s top 50.
The Hackney Post will keep you updated on Keothavong’s progress at the tournament, just check our Sport section for the latest news.
