A Hackney terror suspect has been released on bail after being arrested in a dawn raid.

The 21 year old was arrested at 6am on Wednesday. Police were called to the residence on suspicion of aiding terrorism.

A spokesperson from Scotland Yard said the Hackney terror suspect was arrested on charges of “facilitating another to travel abroad”.

The man was taken to a central London police station before being bailed pending further charges. He is due to return to court in December.

This latest arrest comes just a few weeks after five men appeared in court conspiring to shoot dead police and soldiers in London.
