A pop-up shop in aid of homeless people has sold £3,000 worth of goods in its first three days.
Customers at the Haggerston shop are able to buy products such as jackets and umbrellas for homeless people, and the items are distributed by the non-profit company to those who need them.
Crack + Cider was opened this November by Charley Cramer and Scarlett Montanaro. It was inspired by a homeless man who told them: “People don’t give me money because they just think I’ll spend it on crack and cider.”

Ms Cramer said she is amazed by the early success of the initiative and says it will keep “hundreds of people warm this winter”.
Stephen Robertson, CEO of The Big Issue Foundation, told the Hackney Post: “This initiative gives people an opportunity to take some direct action to help rough sleepers.”
