YouTube disco diva Sarah Coakley has raised almost £400 for BBC Children in Need by dancing non-stop in London Fields for four hours.
The 47-year-old from Teddington boogied in the park on Saturday afternoon to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
So far, Sarah has raised £385 through her dance-athon and money is still coming in through her donation page.
BBC Children in Need raised over £31m last year and will be announcing this year’s total on Friday night’s live show.
Sarah is just one of the thousands across the country who have been taking time out to raise money for the charity.
The mother-of-one is a self-confessed dance addict who documents her special moves on her YouTube channel.
Sarah’s top acts to dance to include Alt-J, John Newman and American psychedelic rock duo MGMT, while her favourite dancers are Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj.
On the day, Sarah danced along to her boom box while friends and family raised money from those who admired her moves.
“We’ve had five hours of smiles,” Sarah told the Hackney Post.
“All I have to say is that you’re never too old to dance and that you should always do it like nobody’s watching.
