Music fans wanting to see idols like Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z at 2013’s Wireless Festival in the Olympic Park have already bought all the resident tickets.
Tickets were reserved for Hackney locals as part of the Council’s Olympic Legacy promise but according to the council these have now sold out.
But hope still remains for those who sign up to the event’s website. Prices range from £57.50 for one day to £375 for a VIP ticket – the equivalent of a premium seat in the Champions League final at Wembley Stadium.
Some celebrated getting tickets for the two-day bonanza on Twitter but many were distressed at not grabbing any at all.

People from outside Hackney were also dismayed at not getting in. American poet Imeli Thompson said, “Everyone who is anyone in the music industry will be at Wireless in London this July, but I can’t go.”
This year’s festival will span 2 days over Friday 12 and Saturday 13 July. It will be the first time the event is hosted in London’s Olympic Park after moving from Hyde Park.
Also on the bill are Brit-award winner Emeli Sande, Rita Ora, Snoop Dogg and Calvin Harris.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson said: “This is a stellar line-up of stars that’s set to bring down the house this summer. It proves that our fantastic Olympic Park is now a destination of choice for world-class musical events.”
