The 277 bus could make fewer stops under plans by Transport for London to make changes to routes throughout Hackney.

Under the plans the route of the service could stop at Dalston Junction. It currently starts at Isle of Dogs Asda and ends at St Paul’s Road at Highbury Corner.

The plans have been put forward by TFL which has already made changes to bus routes throughout Hackney. A large number of bus routes which have already seen a reduction in the number of times they make stops through the borough. These include: 42, 48, 106, 141, 236, 242, 276, 279, 343, 349, 488, N8, N29, N35, N38 and N55.

Hackney Council stared a consultation to see how these changes are affecting people. The consolation closes on 27th April 2018. You can also fill out an online questionnaire here.
